The Full Real Estate Agent’s Licence is the highest form of Licence for a Real Estate Agent in Queensland.

This Licence allows you to open a trust account, employ staff and work independently as a Contractor, Buyers Agent, or perhaps start your own Real Estate Business. You cannot operate a trust account or work independently with a Real Estate Certificate, you must hold a Full Real Estate Agent’s Licence to be able to do this.

Getting your real estate licence
In order to obtain your Licence you must first complete the required study. Upon obtaining competency, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment which will allow you to apply to the Office of Fair Trading Queensland who issue all Real Estate Licences.
The Office of Fair Trading study requirements to obtain a Full Real Estate Agent’s Licence are the following units of competency from CPP41419  Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice  and CPP51122 Diploma of Property (Agency Management)

When completing the 19 units of competency for the Full Licence, we noticed a lot a repetition in the assessment. We do not deliver each individual unit of competency. We have clustered the units together and remove the duplicated criteria making the course more streamlined.

How long does it take to get a licence?
In each location the face-to-face course has 6 classroom contact days.  The learning and assessment material is sent to you prior to course commencement for you to read and absorb the content well before your course begins.   Once in class the learning materials are brought to life and all assessment requirements are fully explained by your Trainer.  Some assessment will be completed in class and some will be completed outside of class.  The course is competency based and experienced students will complete sooner than those who have less industry experience.  We recommend that your course is completed within 6 months of commencement.

Our live, trainer guided Zoom Day Course follows the same format and timing as our face-to-face classes (9am-4pm daily).

The live, trainer guided Zoom Night Course is held over 10 nights (6pm-9pm).
