Chattels Auctioneer Licence

Welcome to the Chattels Auctioneer Licence Course, your first step towards a rewarding career as a licensed auctioneer specialising in the sale of goods, vehicles, plant, equipment, and other personal property across Queensland.

This course has been developed to provide you with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and legal understanding required to conduct compliant and professional chattel auctions, in accordance with the Property Occupations Act 2014 (Qld) and other applicable state legislation.

Whether you’re entering the auction industry for the first time or seeking to expand your professional qualifications, this course will support you in developing your auctioneering confidence, understanding your legal obligations, and preparing for real-world auction environments.

Upon completion, you will meet the educational requirements to apply for a Chattels Auctioneer Licence with the Office of Fair-Trading Queensland. This will allow you to legally conduct auctions for second-hand goods, vehicles, antiques, tools, machinery, and other non-real estate assets. As a licensed Chattels Auctioneer, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring auctions are conducted with transparency, professionalism, and legal integrity.

Get ready to raise the gavel and build your reputation in the Queensland auction community!
