Auctioneer's Licence  

Complete Property Training  run Auctioneer’s Licence courses regularly in Brisbane.  These courses cover all 5 units of competency needed to hold an Auction Licence in Queensland.

To obtain an Auctioneers Licence in Qld you must first complete the required study, then apply for your Trainee Auctioneers Licence via the Office of Fair Trading Qld and complete 5 auctions under the supervision of a fully licenced auctioneer.

Once the study and supervised auctions have been completed you can then apply for your Auctioneer’s Licence which will allow you to conduct auctions independently.

Our course is run in conjunction with Jason Andrew, 2010 Australasian Champion, as we believe the skill’s training is equally as important as the legalities. 

The Auctioneer’s Course is two (2) days in duration with one day devoted to classroom learning and assessment and the other day to hands on skills training covering aspects such as the auction call, reserve setting meetings, creating energy and flow.

Jason will ensure you learn the skills necessary to be at the very top of this industry and he shares the secrets of his highly successful auction business which conducts almost 2000 auctions each year.

The Office of Fair Trading will charge you for your Trainee Auctioneer Certificate.  This costs $272 for a 1 year Licence or $462 for a 3 year Licence.  You will also be charged for your Full Auctioneer's Licence which is $1160 for a 1 year Licence or $2175.00 for a 3 year Licence.
