Complete Property Training Pty Ltd · RTO No. 31828 · Version 2.0 · July 2026

This document is drafted against the Standards for RTOs 2025 (Outcome Standards, Compliance Requirements and Credential Policy) which took effect 1 July 2025.

1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to all training and assessment services provided by Complete Property Training Pty Ltd (“CPT”, “we”, “us”), a Registered Training Organisation (RTO No. 31828) regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). By enrolling in a CPT course, you agree to these Terms, together with the Student Handbook and our published policies. Where there is any inconsistency, the Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2025 and applicable legislation prevail.

CPT delivers nationally recognised training. Being a registered training organisation means CPT is registered by ASQA and is regularly monitored to ensure our training and assessment meets the requirements of the VET Quality Framework and the Standards for RTOs 2025.

2. Information we provide before you enrol

Before you enrol, and before you are required to pay any fees, CPT will provide you with written pre-enrolment information setting out:

  • the training product code and title, course duration, delivery modes, training locations and commencement dates;
  • all training and assessment requirements, including any work you must complete outside scheduled contact days;
  • any occupational licensing requirements that apply (see clause 4);
  • all fees, costs and charges you may incur, payment terms, and our refund policy;
  • the training and support services and wellbeing support available to you and how to access them;
  • any obligations or liabilities imposed on you by CPT or any third party; and
  • details of any third-party arrangements relevant to your course.

Please read this information carefully. If anything changes to your course or to CPT’s operations that may affect you — including the transition of superseded, deleted or expired training products — we will notify you as soon as practicable.

3. Entry requirements and pre-enrolment review

Our courses are open to all applicants who meet the published entry requirements, consistent with our commitment to access and equity. As part of enrolment, CPT will review your existing skills and support needs, including language, literacy, numeracy and digital (LLND) capability, and any eligibility for credit transfer or recognition of prior learning (RPL), so we can confirm the course is suitable for you and identify any support or reasonable adjustments you may need.

To complete your course you will need:

  • a computer or laptop with a current Microsoft Office (or equivalent) subscription to access learning materials and complete assessments;
  • reliable internet access and an active email address; and
  • a web camera, microphone and headphones if attending via Zoom.

If you have a medical condition or disability, or need additional support, please tell us when you apply. We will work with you to put appropriate support and reasonable adjustments in place.

4. Licensing eligibility — important

Completing a CPT course results in a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment or qualification. It does not itself grant you a real estate licence or registration certificate. Licences and certificates are issued by the relevant regulator — the Office of Fair Trading (QLD), the Business Licensing Authority / Consumer Affairs Victoria (VIC) or NSW Fair Trading (NSW) — and are subject to that regulator’s eligibility criteria, including age, suitability/character and residency or visa requirements, and application fees. CPT cannot guarantee that a licence or certificate will be granted.

5. Course delivery, duration and locations

Courses are delivered face-to-face at our Queensland and Victorian training locations, via live Zoom sessions, or by self-paced independent study where offered. Face-to-face and Zoom courses involve the following scheduled contact days:

  • Salesperson & Property Manager’s Certificate: three (3) days
  • Full Real Estate Agent’s Licence: five (5) days
  • Full Licence Upgrade from Salesperson: two (2) days
  • Auctioneer Course: two (2) or three (3) days (advised on enrolment based on previous credentials)

Contact days are part of the amount of training for the course; you should also expect to complete self-directed study and some assessments outside scheduled sessions. Total course duration, including assessment completion timeframes, is set out in the pre-enrolment information for each course.

6. Learning resources and assessment

All learning resources are provided through our learner management system upon confirmation of enrolment. If you attend a CPT campus or via Zoom, most assessments are completed in class; some may need to be completed in your own time. Your trainer will advise you when assignments are due. If you are studying independently/self-paced, you are responsible for arranging completion and submission of your assessments within the enrolment period.

Assessment outcomes are recorded as Competent or Not Yet Competent. If you are assessed as Not Yet Competent, you will be given feedback and allowed an unlimited number of further attempts at no additional charge within your enrolment period.

7. Fees, charges and payment

All course fees, and every other fee, cost or charge you may incur (including any extension, transfer, deferral or hardcopy certificate fees), are set out in our published Fee Schedule and pre-enrolment information. There are no charges beyond those disclosed to you before enrolment.

Payment timing. Course fees up to $1,500 are payable in full on enrolment to secure your place. For the Full Real Estate Agent’s Licence course, an initial payment of $900 is payable on enrolment and the balance of fees is invoiced and due on the first day of the course. Where you provide a credit card for payment, you authorise CPT to deduct the balance of course fees on the agreed date. Course fees for all Independent Learning courses are payable in full on enrolment as the enrolment date is identical to the course commencement date. Any other fees, costs and charges as set out in the Fee Schedule are payable on accrual.

Prepaid fee protection. To protect students, CPT does not collect more than $1,500 in prepaid fees from any student for the same course before training commences. Any amount above $1,500 is only payable after your course has commenced. This applies however you pay — including by credit card, Afterpay or any other instalment provider.

Card surcharge. If you pay by credit card, a surcharge of 1.7% of the transaction amount applies and will be shown at checkout before you confirm payment. This surcharge reflects our cost of accepting card payments.

Afterpay. Afterpay is available as a payment method. Afterpay’s own eligibility criteria, terms and late fees apply (Afterpay Australia Pty Ltd, Australian Credit Licence 527911). Using Afterpay does not change your rights or CPT’s obligations under these Terms, including the prepaid fee protection above.

Certificates and Statements of Attainment cannot be issued until all course fees have been paid in full.

8. Cancellations, withdrawals and refunds

Cancellation/withdrawal before course commencement. If you cancel/withdraw in writing:

  • more than seven (7) days before course commencement — you will receive a full refund of fees paid;
  • seven (7) days or less and more than two (2) business days before course commencement — you will receive a refund of 50% of fees paid;
  • two (2) business days or less before course commencement, after course commencement or fail to attend without notice — no refund is generally payable, however CPT will consider each application on its merits.

Compassionate and extenuating circumstances. If you are unable to continue due to illness, injury or other extenuating circumstances, a pro-rata refund or fee credit will be considered on provision of a medical certificate or other supporting documentation.

If CPT cancels or cannot deliver. If CPT cancels, reschedules or is unable to deliver your course, you may choose between a place in an equivalent course at a suitable location and time, or a full refund of all prepaid fees for services not delivered. Refunds under this clause are paid within 14 days and are not subject to any deduction.

Refund requests must be made in writing to info@completepropertytraining.com.au. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Extensions, transfers and changes by you

If your enrolment period is due to expire, you may apply in writing for an extension. Extension fees are $50 for the first extension and $100 for any subsequent extension as set out in the Fee Schedule. Extensions are valid for thirty (30) calendar days.

Transfers to another scheduled course date are subject to availability and permitted at no charge if requested in writing to info@completepropertytraining.com.au more than seven (7) days before course commencement. Transfer requests received seven (7) days or less and more than two (2) business days before course commencement are subject to a transfer fee of $100. Where requested two (2) business days or less before course commencement, transfer requests are subject to a transfer fee of $150.

10. Certification and your USI

Once you are assessed as Competent in all required units and your fees are paid in full, CPT will issue your Statement of Attainment or qualification within thirty (30) calendar days (our service goal is within one week). Under the Student Identifiers Act 2014, CPT cannot issue nationally recognised certification unless you hold a verified Unique Student Identifier (USI). You can create a USI free of charge at usi.gov.au or authorise CPT to apply for one on your behalf. If we apply on your behalf, we will need to sight an identity document (e.g. driver licence or Medicare card) to verify your identity; identity documents are used only for verification and are securely destroyed once your USI is verified.

11. Recognition of prior learning and credit transfer

CPT recognises AQF qualifications and Statements of Attainment issued by other RTOs and offers recognition of prior learning (RPL) for skills and knowledge gained through work and life experience. Contact our team for an obligation-free eligibility conversation. Details, evidence requirements and any applicable fees are set out in the Student Handbook and Fee Schedule.

12. Student support and wellbeing

CPT provides training support throughout your enrolment, including trainer access during and between sessions, dedicated admin support, mentoring and study guidance, LLND support and reasonable adjustments. If you need wellbeing support, contact our team on 1800 518 258 or info@completepropertytraining.com.au and we will connect you with appropriate services. How to access all support services is set out in the Student Handbook and on our website.

13. Complaints and appeals

You are entitled to raise a complaint about CPT, our trainers, staff, third parties or other students, or to appeal an assessment decision, without fear of disadvantage. Complaints and appeals are managed fairly, promptly and at no cost to you under our Complaints and Appeals Policy, available on our website and in the Student Handbook. Complaints should be lodged in writing to info@completepropertytraining.com.au. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you may request an independent review, and you may also complain to ASQA (asqa.gov.au) or, for consumer matters, your state consumer protection agency.

14. Photography and media

CPT may take photographs or recordings during classes and events for marketing and promotional purposes. We will only use your image or recording where you have given express consent, which we will seek before or at the time of capture (for example, on your enrolment form or at the session). Consent is entirely optional, is not a condition of enrolment, and you may withdraw it at any time by emailing info@completepropertytraining.com.au. If you prefer not to appear in any photography or recording, tell your trainer and we will make adjustments.

15. Privacy and your personal information

CPT collects, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and our Privacy Policy, published at completepropertytraining.com.au/privacy-policy.

Under the Data Provision Requirements 2020, CPT is required to collect personal information about you and disclose it to the National Centre for Vocational Education Research (NCVER). Your personal information (including information on your enrolment form) may be used or disclosed by CPT for statistical, regulatory and research purposes, including to: your school (if you are a secondary student undertaking VET); your employer (if your training is employer-funded); Commonwealth and State/Territory government departments and authorised agencies; NCVER; and organisations conducting student surveys on behalf of the Department. You may receive an NCVER student survey and may opt out at the time of being contacted. NCVER handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the VET Data Policy (ncver.edu.au).

16. Your obligations

You agree to: provide true, accurate and complete information at enrolment; complete your own assessments and not engage in plagiarism, collusion or cheating; behave respectfully toward trainers, staff and other students; comply with the Student Handbook, including our academic integrity and conduct expectations; and pay fees when due. CPT may suspend or cancel an enrolment for serious misconduct, academic dishonesty or non-payment, in accordance with the Student Handbook and after affording you procedural fairness.

17. General

CPT may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the date of your enrolment applies to that enrolment, and we will notify enrolled students as soon as practicable of any change that may affect them. These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law.
