Upgrade to a Full Real Estate Agent’s Licence in Queensland
If you currently hold a Real Estate Certificate and have completed the required units from the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice, you may be eligible for a simple upgrade to the Full Real Estate Agent’s Licence in Queensland.
This streamlined upgrade pathway allows qualified candidates to expand their career opportunities and operate independently in the real estate industry.
Important Note:
Candidates cannot upgrade to the Full Licence under the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice if they only hold a Certificate from the superseded CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).
In this case, a full course enrolment will be required.

UNITS OF COMPETENCY
The Full License Upgrade from Salesperson Course consists of seven (7) units from the CPP Property Services Training Package. Upon successful completion of all assessment requirements, candidates will be awarded a Statement of Attainment containing the following units of competency:
CPPREP4506 – Manage off-site and lone worker safety in real estate
CPPREP4503 – Present at hearings in real estate
CPPREP5010 – Manage customer service activities in the property industry
CPPREP4125 – Transact in trust accounts
CPPREP5006 – Manage operational finances in the property industry
CPPREP4122 – Manage tenant relationships
CPPREP4124 – End tenancy
COURSE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must hold evidence of having been awarded the following units of competency:
CPPREP4001 Prepare for professional practice in real estate
CPPREP4002 Access and interpret ethical practice in real estate
CPPREP4003 Access and interpret legislation in real estate
CPPREP4004 Establish marketing and communication profiles in real estate
CPPREP4005 Prepare to work with real estate trust accounts
CPPREP4101 Appraise property for sale or lease
CPPREP4102 Market property
CPPREP4103 Establish vendor relationships
CPPREP4104 Establish buyer relationships
CPPREP4105 Sell property
CPPREP4121 Establish landlord relationships
CPPREP4123 Manage tenancy
CPT courses require LLN (Language, Literacy and Numeracy) capabilities, such as a working knowledge of the English language and an understanding of various mathematical calculations. To ensure your ability to successfully complete our courses, you are required to demonstrate your LLN skills by completing a short LLN quiz as part of the enrolment process.
Students will require:
• A computer to access learning materials and undertake online assessments if completing the course via Zoom or via correspondence.
• Internet access for research, submitting assessment items, and email for communication purposes and assistance.
• A Unique Student Identifier (USI) that can be obtained at www.usi.gov.au
STUDENT JOURNEY
This interactive course is available in multiple methods to suit the participant based on their availability and location.
• Intensive face-to-face workshop
• Intensive live Zoom session (available at the day, evening or weekends)
• Correspondence (12 months to complete)
LICENSING OUTCOME

COURSE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS
To be determined competent on Full Real Estate Agent’s License course, students will be required to complete and/or provide the following evidence:
• Completion of written theory assessments
• Completion of practical workshop and assessments
ALLOWABLE TIME
• Face-to Face & Zoom – Students may be accredited immediately after the course completion should they have completed and submitted all course requirements.
• Correspondence – 12 months from enrolment date.
