Full Licence Upgrade from RLA

Resident Letting Agent's Licence v Full Agent's Licence

Congratulations, you’ve laid the groundwork for your career in On-site/Residential Management by completing Resident Letting Agent (RLA) Licence…perhaps now is the time to consider the next step and open yourself up to potential opportunities to expand your business and generate more untapped income.

The RLA (Resident Letting Agent’s) Licence is limited in that you can only rent units within the complex you manage, and where the principal place of business is located.

With the Full Real Estate Licence you can unlock huge earning potential and incorporate the opportunity to sell units in your complex (and other complexes)…just like any other fully licenced Real Estate Agent.

Ask yourself - "why should someone else earn the commission that I could so easily be earning"?

How do I Upgrade from my RLA (Resident Letting Agent’s Licence) to a Full Agent's Licence?

Complete Property Training has simplified the process for completion of the 13 remaining modules of competency required for the RLA Upgrade to Full Real Estate Licence. Providing you have already successfully completed the six (6) modules from the current CPP40307 training package - BSBSBM406(orA), CPPDSM4006A, CPPDSM4007A, CPPDSM4010A, CPPDSM4015AorB and CPPDSM4016A, and can provide a copy of your Statement of Attainment verifying this – you should be eligible to complete our Upgrade Course.

Your learning begins upon enrolment when you will be sent all the Learning Resource material, which is a valuable tool to help you undertake your assessment.  We recommend you familiarise yourself with these Resources prior to commencing your course.  The face to face classroom attendance time for this course is 5.5 days.  Your Trainer will lead you in assessment items and you will also be required to undertake some assessment away from class.  Experienced students (those who have previously or are currently working in the industry) will often complete the assessments in the allocated course time, however all students are able to complete their assessment outside of the allocated course time, or a combination of the 2 as we have flexible delivery options.  Alternatively, you can also complete via correspondence. *Please note if attending class you will not be required to attend the morning of the 4th day of class.

It’s a simple process:-

  • successfully complete the 5 ½ day course in any one of our nine locations across Queensland (or via correspondence if attending a class is not an option)
  • we will issue your Statement of Attainment for the remaining 13 modules
  • apply with the Office of Fair Trading for your Upgraded Licence (meeting all their application requirements, provide all documentation necessary, and pay any additional application fees).

If you haven’t considered upgrading to the Full Agent’s Licence, perhaps now is the time…contact Complete Property Training for more information or to discuss your eligibility to enrol in one of our regularly held courses across Queensland.
